Miscellaneous Abstract Art Paintings Done

I guess this page could get very large because I do get interested in a lot of different things.   Just about any of my paintings that can not be classified in another way, end up here!
Generic Hunt County Fair Ribbon
Generic
18" x 12"
Acrylic on canvas - 1989
Photograph scanned and
electronically retouched - 1999

I saw a "generic" t-shirt in a souvenir shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico and I knew I had to paint a generic painting.   Coincidenatlly at the same time we were researching different types of barcodes to place on engineering drawings for the purpose of tracking them through the release and signature cycles at work.   I picked the numbers 613 which represents FAL in numerology and 1989 as the year it was painted.   Then I created the barcode to represent these numbers.   I won a bet later that the painting was accurate enough to be scanned and produce the numbers I had selected!

This painting won a Superior blue ribbon in its class at the Hunt County Fair in 1989.

This painting was inspired by many comic strips that use lines similar to these to show movement; so my subject has "gone with the wind" exiting "stage left".

I tried to warn you abut some of my weird titles!
