My Burgoyne Diller Impressions

I discovered Burgoyne Diller at the Dallas Muesum Of Fine Art.   His so much reminded me of Mondrain.   I spent hours there with the show catalog and sketch pad estimating size and dimensions of his work.   I was especially impressed with his huge hard edge paintings, which of course were done in primary colors.   I wonder if he was also pastel color blind!   I have not seen his work any where else, not even on the web; so I only have my impressions of his work which I planned to do.   Some of these impressions could be considered copies, but others are intended to try to capture the essence of his ideas and paint them differently.

This painting is similar to Diller's Third Theme - 1963.

This painting will be a small version of a variation of one of Diller's large paintings of his First Theme series.

This is to be made from a sketch I did on a computer-aided design system several years ago.   It reminds me of one of Diller's First Theme paintings in which he used mostly black with primary colors and no white.
